Our first accommodation on our three-week journey was Hotel Sofia in Colombo, and it was absolutely worth it. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, showing great effort in making our stay comfortable. The infinity pool on the rooftop was fantastic for relaxation and a refreshing dip. The rooms were spacious with a wonderful view, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable, enhancing our overall experience.

While the breakfast wasn’t entirely to our taste, there was a wide selection of sweet and savory dishes available. Freshly made omelets and eggs were a highlight. For the evening, there was a rooftop terrace where we could enjoy a cocktail and unwind.

Overall, Hotel Sofia offers a cohesive experience with a great location, lovely rooms, and exceptional staff. It certainly contributed to making our stay in Colombo memorable.
