In May I had the pleasure of staying at Sofia Colombo City Hotel a weekend getaway, and I can confidently say it exceeded all my expectations.
From the moment I stepped into the luxurious lobby, I was greeted by friendly staff who made the check-in process seamless.
The room itself was a spacious haven, beautifully decorated with modern furnishings and a stunning view of the sea view and the city skyline. The Queen sized bed was incredibly comfortable and I appreciated the attention to detail, like the Tea and coffee preparation station.
The amenities were fantastic! I enjoyed relaxing by the rooftop pool, which had breathtaking views and the onsite restaurant serviced delightful meals. I especially loved the breakfast buffet- there was something for everyone, from fresh fruit to made-to-order omelets. I also highly recommend the room service and the restaurant for preparing delicious food and for the excellent presentation and was brought to the room promptly. The fish and chips portions were large and delicious and value for money. The tiramisu was also heavenly.
What truly stood out was the hotel’s commitment to customer service. The staff went above and beyond to make my stay memorable by promptly addressing any requests I had.
Overall, I highly recommend Sofia Colombo City Hotel for anyone looking for a luxurious and hassle-free stay. I can’t wait to return!

My partner and I had such a wonderful stay here that we extended for another night! The rooms are nice, clean and we had a great view of both the sea and city facing the Lotus tower.

The shower is a good size & shower pressure was one of the best that we’ve ever experienced in a hotel!

The rooftop pool had the best views for sunset!

The staff are very welcoming, kind and helpful from the entrance, right through to the reception, restaurant, housekeeping and bar!
